Whakapiki Ake
Hui ā Kura

Hui ā Kura (Years 9-11) opens doors for Māori students to discover their strengths and future potential in health sciences. Our July to September workshops blend cultural knowledge with hands-on learning, creating an environment where students can explore who they are and where they might go.

Strengthening Foundations

Our workshops embrace the power of being proud Māori, where students explore their identity as kaitiaki of their own future. Through meaningful whakawhanaungatanga, we build connections between students, teachers, and whānau that last beyond the classroom. We create spaces where cultural strength becomes the foundation for academic success.

Shaping Tomorrow’s Choices

Students discover how their subject choices today can open doors to exciting health careers tomorrow. Through engaging activities and real-world insights, we explore the many pathways available in hauora. We challenge students to think about their ‘why’ – connecting their personal aspirations with opportunities to make a difference in their communities.”
