Whakapiki Ake is a Māori recruitment programme that works within a kaupapa Māori framework to support rangatahi Māori enrolled in secondary schools and kura.
We promote health as a career and entry into the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences professional programmes.
We support students’ academic, cultural and social journey from Year 9 to graduation, inviting whānau to participate.

You are eligible for Whakapiki Ake because you have Māori whakapapa/ancestry.
